LKR Innovation House in Østbirk, Denmark is a compelling example of how existing buildings can be transformed into modern environments for innovation, development, and wellbeing. Designed by PRAKSIS ARKITEKTER for VELUX, the project converts former industrial halls into a contemporary innovation hub with offices, workshops, laboratories, and collaborative workspaces gathered under one roof.

Rather than building new, the design team chose to work with the existing halls and reshape them into a flexible, future-oriented setting defined by reuse, daylight, and a strong spatial identity.
