About KRONE Wood pine

At KRONE, we always use heartwood, which is an important prerequisite for creating quality windows. In our pine windows, the proportion of heartwood is as high as 90 per cent and the wood comes from slow-growing pine trees in European forests. Pine windows and exterior doors are classic and timeless and fit into any home.

Environmentally friendly methods

We have a strong focus on the environment at KRONE, and the use of heartwood eliminates the need for the otherwise environmentally harmful vacuum impregnation. Instead, we use the most environmentally friendly surface treatment, called 2 ØKO, which requires a special licence, which we of course obtained several years ago.


Uniform surface

To avoid dull discolouration on the wood, we have also chosen to completely remove knots in the wood. At the same time, we have tested a lot and found the optimal thickness of the paint film to ensure extreme uniformity and maximum durability. So you are guaranteed a very high quality if you choose a KRONE Wood pine window.

Choosing pine windows and doors doesn't have to mean choosing between black and white. Windows and exterior doors can also be painted in a multitude of colours. We offer a wide range of RAL colours, so you can always find the colour that best matches your building and your wishes.
