Accountability
Our employees
At KRONE we take good care of our employees, they are the driving force behind satisfied customers and quality products, and that is a commitment. We work with a very flat organisational structure where everyone is important and where everyone takes each other into account and respects each other's tasks.
We also go to great lengths to ensure safety and thoroughness in every aspect or condition that affects employees' working conditions and the workplace environment. Among other things, we offer health insurance, pension, SAMU, fruit scheme, staff association, regular appraisals, employee fund, further training and participation in fun runs and similar activities.
We support our employees' wishes for further training in the form of school or courses, and we also try to fulfil any requests for internal relocation of departments. This can be within production, but also from production to office.
"I'm proud to be a part of KRONE - a company where we care about each other and where we all do our best."
Annisette Hemme, Advisor at KRONE
Work climate and work environment
At KRONE, there is a close, positive and efficient working environment between employees. But a healthy working environment doesn't happen by itself - it is our primary task to create the framework and ensure that the working environment functions optimally, which is the only way to ensure the continued job satisfaction of our employees.
We adapt the working environment in accordance with national laws on a good working environment, and we focus on optimal safety and ergonomic working conditions. We also have a mission to create a stress-free and positive working environment, lower work pressure and greater opportunities for individual fulfilment and job rotation.
At KRONE, we respect our employees' right to join a trade union of their choice. We want to make sure that our employees have the right rights that give our employees a good and stable working day.
We consider safety to be one of the most important aspects of our workplace, as we want everyone to be safe and secure, which is why we have a constant focus on accident prevention.
We do what we can to involve all employees and ensure that everyone is working towards the same safety goals. That's why we hold weekly whiteboard meetings where all production employees participate and where a major focus area is safety and accident prevention.
A production meeting is also held once a week to discuss new initiatives and prevention, and our Safety Group also works hard to prevent accidents and ensure a high level of occupational safety.
In our production facilities, everyone has completed a course on handling occupational accidents, first aid, handling in case of fire, and preventing injuries and accidents through ergonomics.
KRONE is a prominent profile in the local area and we want to contribute to the local community. We train apprentices and take on students for internships, students who want to strengthen their knowledge through our company. Therefore, we work closely and have a good dialogue with local educational institutions on the development and training of students.
Our close co-operation with local schools also means that we are always ready to help. We always welcome students who have grown tired of school and want to try their hand at some practical work. Although this may already be around the 8th grade, we're always happy to support and help young people pursue their dreams.
But we have a wide range of age groups, because we also have room and space for retired people who want to be employed for a shorter period of time. These are typically people who still want to maintain contact with the labour market and colleagues, and who want a little extra content in their everyday lives.
We recognise and respect equal treatment and equality among all people regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, political views, or social origin.
We follow the Furniture & Wood Industry Collective Agreement and have union representatives employed in both our production facilities.
A strong sense of unity
We give back to the community
KRONE is part of DOVISTA, which is owned by the VKR Group. Together with contributions from the rest of the VKR Group, KRONE helps to channel part of our financial returns back into society. This is done through the non-profit foundations VILLUM FONDEN and VELUX FONDEN, which operate under the common umbrella THE VELUX FOUNDATIONS.
The foundations support non-profit projects within science, culture, art and social issues, and employees can also apply for support.
Sponsorships
Just as we do a lot for the social environment in our workplace, we also want to contribute to the local community, which is why we have several sponsorships, many of which are in the local area.
